Two tools we deliberately didn’t build (yet)
People ask for these, but we won’t fake them — a tool that quietly makes things up is worse than no tool:
- An in-game loot/reward filter. ESO has no public API for live inventory or drops, and add-ons that do this run inside the game on PC only. We can’t build an honest web version that reflects your actual game, so we don’t pretend to — the closest honest thing is our Set Locator (where sets come from) plus the addons guide.
- A real-time nerf/buff tracker. There’s no clean, machine-readable source for patch changes the moment they land; scraping patch notes into a ‘live’ tracker would be stale or wrong exactly when it matters. Instead we date every page and bump the Update 50 validity stamp by hand once a page is re-checked — slower, but it never lies about being current.
