How many ESO addons are shipped for Update 51?
Of the 3,231 addons in the ESOUI feed, 221 declare an API version at least as high as the live one (101051) with no removed calls in their source — many shipped that during the test-server window, before Update 51's live date (2026-09-28). 40 shipped a release after the patch but left an older ##APIVersion line in the manifest, 2,660 have not been updated since the patch and call nothing the game removed, 245 do call API the game removed, and 81 we cannot say. Does “not updated” mean the addon is broken?
No, and that is why this site does not use that word. "Not updated" is a date comparison. Whether the addon still runs depends on whether its code calls anything the game deleted, which we check separately by scanning its published source. An addon untouched for two years that never called a since-removed function keeps working.
How long does it usually take for addons to update after a patch?
Measured, not guessed: 2.1% of the 3,231 addons in the feed had shipped a release within 30 days of the Update 51 live date. The full table is on this page. Most of the catalogue is abandoned, so this number is a property of the ecosystem, not of any addon you care about.
Why are libraries listed separately?
Because ranking them beside user-facing addons is misleading. 188 of the 3,231 entries are libraries — you install them only because something else needs them, they never appear as a feature, and their download counts measure other addons' popularity, not their own.
Where does this data come from?
Two sources, both dated on every page. Downloads, dates, versions and categories are the public ESOUI/MMOUI feed — the same one the Minion addon manager reads — retrieved 2026-10-02. Declared API versions, dependency closures, folder names and the removed-call scan come from our own index of the addons' published files, snapshot 2026-09-28.
