ESO Build Planner
Plan a full build in your browser: pick a class, fill both ability bars (with morphs), equip all 12 gear slots from the 712 datamined sets and watch set bonuses activate live, slot your Champion Points — then share the whole build with one link. Every bonus and tooltip shown is the exact datamined text, never a guess.

What this planner knows (and how)
- 712 sets with exact bonuses. Each gear slot searches every set in the game; the bonus panel shows which 2/3/4/5-piece lines are active for your current piece count, with perfected lines marked — the same datamined text as our set pages.
- The two-handed rule is built in. A greatsword, battle axe, maul, bow, or staff counts as two pieces of its set — toggle a weapon slot to 2H and the count updates.
- 216 slottable skills with all morphs. Bars only accept what fits: five actives plus one ultimate, class skills filtered to your class, weapon/guild/world/alliance-war lines always available — straight from the datamined skill data.
- 73 slottable Champion Point stars. Four per discipline (Warfare, Fitness, Craft), from the datamined CP tree.
- Share with one link. The whole build is encoded in the URL itself — no account, no upload, nothing stored on a server.
Common Planner Questions
The build planner stores its entire state in the page URL rather than on a server or account, so every change you make — a new gear piece, a swapped morph, a different CP star — generates an updated link. If you want to compare two versions of a build, keep both URLs open in separate tabs rather than relying on undo history.
Because there's no login or character import, the planner works the same whether you're testing a class you already play or one you're only considering. This also makes it usable on console, where add-ons aren't available to pull live character data — you build manually and compare against your in-game loadout.
The tool is intentionally scoped to slot-count logic: it confirms which set bonuses are active at your current piece count, which morphs and skills are legal on each bar, and which CP stars are slotted per discipline. It does not simulate damage, healing, or sustain output, since that depends on individual stats, buffs, and rotation that a static planner can't calculate.
Common questions
Does editing a build change my old share link, or does it create a new one?
Since the entire build is encoded in the URL, changing any bar, gear slot, or CP star produces a different link. Copy the updated address bar URL to share the new version — the original link keeps pointing to the earlier build state, so old links you've already shared won't break.
Can I plan a build for a class I haven't unlocked or before respeccing?
Yes. Because the planner runs entirely in the browser with no account or character import, you can select any class and see its full skill lines and morphs regardless of what your actual characters have — useful for theorycrafting a class change or a new alt before committing in game.
Does the planner account for mundus stones, attribute points, traits, or enchantments?
No. It tracks gear slot set bonuses, skill bar morphs, and the four slottable Champion Point stars per discipline, but it doesn't model mundus stone choice, raw attribute allocation, weapon/armor traits, or enchantments — those affect your stats but aren't part of the slotting rules this tool checks.
