Changing Dungeon Difficulty

In The Elder Scrolls Online, players can change the difficulty of dungeons by selecting the desired difficulty level when queuing for a dungeon. The available difficulties are Normal and Veteran. To change the difficulty, open the Dungeon Finder, select the dungeon you wish to run, and choose the difficulty option before queuing. Veteran dungeons provide a greater challenge and better rewards compared to Normal dungeons.

Changing Trial Difficulty

For trials, the difficulty can also be adjusted. Trials have a base difficulty, but players can choose to enable a harder mode known as 'Veteran' when forming a group. This option is typically set by the group leader when creating the group. Veteran trials are designed for experienced players and offer better loot and more challenging mechanics.

What to Consider When Changing Difficulty

When changing the difficulty, consider your group's composition and experience level. Higher difficulties will require better coordination, gear, and skill to succeed. Additionally, some sets and achievements are only available on higher difficulties, so if you're looking to collect specific rewards, it may be worth the challenge.
